It’s Monday, August 30th, 2021…but before we begin, this photo of 46* welcoming home the Marines and corpsman he sacrificed for political purposes…

…along with this meme from the lovely Shannon…

…reminded us what a sorry excuse for a Commander-in-Chief, not to mention a human being…

…this bumbling, brainless bast*rd is:

Oh, you’ll answer for Afghanistan alright, Joe; if not in this life, then certainly in the next.

Here’s the juice: Were there instant justice in the world, this headline and accompanying photo from The Babylon Bee via Speed…

Biden Drone Strikes White House After Vowing To Kill Those Reponsible For American Military Deaths In Kabul

…would be news, not satire.

And to any Libtards or NeverTrumpers who happen to be reading this…

…we trust not having to endure Trump’s tweets was worth the price these thirteen service members just paid.

Now, here’s The Gouge!

First up, our coverage of the greatest wholly self-inflicted disaster in living memory continues courtesy of The Washington Free Beacon, as Matt Continetti confirms…

Biden Subcontracts U.S. Security to Terrorists

The disastrous U.S.-Taliban ‘partnership’ begins with a massacre

Even as suicide bombers attacked the Kabul airport on August 26—killing, at this writing, at least 12 U.S. servicemen and scores of civilians—visitors to the Al Jazeera website could read an interview with Khalil Ur-Rahman Haqqani, the Taliban official and U.S.-designated terrorist who is responsible for security in the Afghan capital. “If we can defeat superpowers, surely we can provide safety to the Afghan people,” said Haqqani, whose guards brandish the helmets, night-vision goggles, small arms, and camouflage the Americans left behind. “All of those people who left this country, we will assure them of their safety,” Haqqani went on. “You’re all welcome back in Afghanistan.”

He’s lying, of course. Lying is what terrorists do. Haqqani’s forces can’t protect the Afghan people from ISIS, or, apparently, from the Taliban itself. The Islamic militia is executing civilians and former members of the Afghan National Army, according to the United Nations. And Haqqani’s colleague, spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid, warned Afghan women and girls the other day that they should avoid the outdoors and public spaces, since Taliban soldiers “have not been yet trained very well.” And “We don’t want our forces, God forbid, to harm or harass women.”

Just to subjugate them.

The massacre at Hamid Karzai airport was the consequence of President Biden’s decision to rely on the Taliban for security. Despite the lunacy of taking the Taliban at its word, the Biden administration sounded in recent days as if Haqqani, Mujahid, and the rest of their deranged crew were U.S. partners. Not only did Biden’s botched withdrawal result in America’s departure from Central Asia, Taliban rule in Afghanistan, a catastrophe for democracy and human rights, and a propaganda boon for the global jihadist-Salafist movement. It guaranteed our dependence on a gang of medieval holy warriors whose loyalty to al Qaeda is the reason the United States invaded Afghanistan in the first place. This historical irony is strategically dubious and morally debased. The loss of life in Kabul is a taste of what’s to come…”

In a related item, the New York Post reveals the reports we quoted Friday were correct, as…

Biden admits admin MAY have given Taliban ‘kill list’ of Afghans who aided U.S.

Hours after an explosion rocked Kabul airport, killing 13 U.S. service members and leaving several others wounded on Thursday in Afghanistan, General Kenneth McKenzie, commander of the United States Central Command, revealed during a Department of Defense briefing that the United States has been sharing intelligence information with the TalibanAccording to McKenzie, the U.S. and the Taliban share a “common purpose” of concluding the American evacuation mission by August 31…”

Since when does the United States of America share a “common purpose” with a terrorist organization?!?  You literally can’t make this sh*t up!!!

Biden’s Deadly Afghanistan Gamble

He may have wanted to score a quick political win, but the losses suffered on the ground are pointing another way.

Iis almost surely the case that President Joe Biden’s Afghan withdrawal was propelled by political considerations rather than any pressing moral or foreign-policy imperative. Biden, who for 20 years has taken whatever the most popular position happened to be on Afghanistan (so, all of them), believed he could get a quick, much-needed political victory.

You can still witness the cynical polling-centric takes from Biden defenders like MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough, who only this morning, a few hours before American troops were being murdered by suicide bombers at the Kabul airport, was telling his co-host Mika Brzezinski, “As you look at those numbers and you look at the numbers right now, post-Afghan chaos, look at the numbers beforehand, 75 percent of Americans supporting it.” Later in the show, Jonathan Lemire, White House correspondent for the Associated Press, noted that “eventually, maybe not right away, eventually Americans will even give him credit for being the U.S. president that was able to finally end the war, something his predecessors were not able to do.”

As a policy matter, of course, Biden’s botching the evacuation is a separate issue from whether the United States should be withdrawing from the country, despite continual efforts to conflate the two. And past mistakes regarding Afghanistan do not absolve the president of his administration’s astonishing incompetence. Of course, Biden was also a proponent of both the war and nation-building efforts in Afghanistan. It’s not as if he had no hand in creating the situation he is now bungling in deadly fashion.

By needlessly abandoning Bagram in June, by hamstringing the U.S. military and locking them in an airport, by failing to account for Americans and partners in-country before evacuating secure positions, by relying on the Taliban’s cooperation and allowing the group to dictate terms and timelines of withdrawal and security, the administration has created a humanitarian crisis. Now, hundreds, perhaps thousands, of U.S. citizens may be stranded in Afghanistan, in danger not only from the Taliban but also from ISIS and possibly al-Qaeda…”

Problem is, this doddering, demented old fool is gambling with other people’s lives.

Meanwhile, as our forces were picking through the rubble of the Kabul bombing, the Sergeant Major of the Army was focused on the key to our nation’s security:

If anyone deciphers precisely what this pandering a*sclown was trying to communicate, please let us know.  Better yet, don’t!

Since we’re on the subject of a*sclowns, as The Washington Times reports, the NBC interview with Michael Byrd (and yes, we chose the color deliberately)…

Officer Who Shot Ashli Babbitt Defends Actions on Jan. 6: I Showed ‘Courage’ and ‘Saved Countless Lives

…can be summed up in this seven-word sentence:

You can watch the interview here, but since Byrd is apparently finished…

…and save you the time and pain by exposing his lies one by one,…not that Lester Holt couldn’t have done this with minimal preparation:

Exhibit “A”: “He said he heard over the radio that rioters had broken into the building, so he and other officers built a makeshift barricade outside the glass doors leading to the lobby of the House of Representatives chamber.”

Why not just ask the group of heavily-armed officers immediately on the other side of the glass doors…

…for a SITREP?

Exhibit “B”: “Once we barricaded the doors, we were essentially trapped where we were,” he said. “If they get through that door, they’re into the House chamber and upon the members of Congress.”

Yeah,…except for the group of heavily-armed officers immediately on the other side of the glass doors.

Exhibit “C”: “Behind the barricade were 60 to 80 congressional members and staffers. Mr. Byrd said a mob began to smash the glass doors and he repeatedly yelled, to no avail, for the protesters to back away.”

Except for the fact the glass was already smashed WHILE the group of heavily-armed officers remained immediately on the other side of the glass doors.

Exhibit “D”: “The furniture obscured his view, he said, and he could not tell how many people were in the crowd or whether they were carrying weapons.”

Sorry, but unless Byrd was holding his weapon above his head…

…and stands only as tall as Toulouse-Lautrec…

…there’s no way the furniture barricade obscured his view.

Exhibit “E”: “He saw a rioter, later identified as Babbitt, trying to crawl through one of the doors into the House chamber. “I could not fully see her hands or what was in the backpack or what the intentions are,” Mr. Byrd said. “But they had shown violence leading up to that point.”…“I tried to wait as long as I could,” he said. “I hoped and prayed no one tried to enter through those doors. But their failure to comply required me to take the appropriate action to save the lives of members of Congress and myself and my fellow officers.

So many lies, so little time.  With Ashli pulling herself through the window as shown, only a blind man wouldn’t have known she wasn’t holding a weapon:

And does Byrd REALLY expect us to believe the “mob” was violent?  “Violence”…WHAT…

…”violence”?!?

It’s almost as if Byrd is in some alternate reality where he and only he stood between “60 to 80” congressional members and staffers and a murderous mob out for their blood.  OR he’s LYING to save his own skin.  As for Byrd’s rather generous self-assessment, Harry Callahan’s appraisal of his performance jives with our own:

Here’s a second shot of the juice: Mr. Byrd panicked, pure and simple, and any courage he possesses is of the kind displayed by former deputy Scot Peterson during the Parkland high school shooting:

Furthermore, had the races of those involved been reversed, this coward would justly be on trial for murder.

Moving on, here’s a sextet of special selections certain to pique the interest of inquiring Conservative minds:

(1). The Supreme Court on Thursday lifted the latest federal ban on evictions during the Covid-19 pandemic, siding with landlords against a moratorium the Biden administration imposed this month despite questions about its legality. Three liberal justices dissented.

You’ll recall in siding with the majority in a 5-4 June vote that let an earlier moratorium stay in place until it expired on its own at the end of July, Brett Kavanaugh took the curious position, though he believed the CDC lacked authority to issue the moratorium, (in other words, the moratorium was illegal/unconstitutional) he was willing leave it in place to avoid disruption while officials worked to distribute rental assistance.

And to hell with the rule of law.

(2). The Washington Free Beacon tells us last week Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm chartered a military jet to attend a diplomatic summit in Ukraine, even as the Pentagon struggled with limited resources to evacuate Americans and Afghanis from Kabul:

The White House confirmed to the Free Beacon that Granholm used a military flight and defended it as “standard protocol” because Granholm was attending the event as a dignitary representative of the president.

Others questioned the justification. “Standard operating procedure does not apply during a national security crisis, these moments require judgment,” one former Trump administration official told the Free Beacon. “The fact that the White House chose to send a cabinet member overseas on a non-mission essential visit, unnecessarily diverting State Department and DOD resources is ludicrous, not to mention an abuse of taxpayer dollars.

(3). In what is perhaps a foretaste of the 2022 elections immediately to the south, A campaign event for Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was canceled over safety concerns after angry coronavirus protesters rallied against the liberal leader. “‘I need freedom,’ read one sign held by a protester in Bolton, Ontario, on Friday, while others repeatedly screamed ‘F*** Trudeau!’, and people were seen waving their middle fingers at the prime minister.”

(4). The Pentagon is conveniently claiming to have killed two “high-profile” members of ISIS-K with a drone strike.  Not that we don’t trust our senior Military, but, might we see the bodies, along with some form of ID…and a little bit more on their positions in ISIS-K other than they were a “planner” and a “facilitator“?  Given the Brass’s willingness to lie in support of the Dimocrats’ deliberate devitalization of our Armed Forces, odds are if anyone was actually killed, their planning and facilitating activities might well have involved a night out on the town with a couple comely nanny goats.

(5). Since we’re on the subject of organizations we don’t trust any further than we can throw Hillary…

… the CDC has issued an “inclusive” language guide discouraging Americans from using such terms as “alcoholic”, “smoker”, “uninsured” and “elderly”.  Evidently, “the guide has multiple sections where suggestions are made to eliminate ‘dehumanizing language‘”.  Think about it: we’re getting our ass handed to us in Afghanistan and the Pentagon’s worried about diversity and CRT.  Likewise, we’re supposedly in the throes of a pandemic, and the CDC is issuing an “inclusive language” guide.

(6). And here’s more sh*t you can’t make up: The Daily Caller reports Harvard selected an atheist as its chief university chaplain.  Why not just get ‘er done and hire the Prince of Darkness himself?!?  John Harvard is undoubtedly spinning in his grave.

Which brings us, appropriately enough, to The Lighter Side:

Then there’s these from Speed…

…the lovely Shannon…

…Brenda Berry…

…and the great Geffoir:

Finally, we’ll call it a wrap with a few quick comments about the Marine LTCOL relieved after criticizing his superiors for their involvement in and cooperation with 46*’s…

Fact One: He was right.  Every single officer in a position of leadership involved in this debacle should be sh*tcanned (Good for him!).  Fact Two: He was wrong.  Public criticism of one’s superiors in a military organization is unacceptable behavior, and he had to know what was coming (BETTER for him!).  Fact Three:  If Mike Mullen, John Casey, “Craven Cur” Mattis and every other senior officer confronted with Progressive plans to social engineer our Military to the point of utter ineffectiveness had resigned after making a similar public protest rather than acted in their own self-interest, we’d be living in a far safer country on a far more secure planet.
