It’s Friday, March 19th, 2021…but before we begin, this photo of John Kerry reading a book maskless while neither eating nor drinking demonstrates why both American Airlines and he…
…are full of the most pungent variety of excrement. Though anyone with the faintest clue already knew Kerry to be the rankest of hypocrites, we certainly won’t hold our breath waiting for American to enforce their policy adamantly announced on each of the four legs of our recent trip to L.A. prior to pushing back from the gate, both from the cabin and flight deck:
“Consistent with U.S. government directives, individuals who refuse to wear a mask may be denied boarding, removed from the aircraft or subject to penalties under federal law, in addition to being barred from future travel with American.”
Still, as long as “Amerikan” is going to treat some animals as more equal than others, we suggest they adopt the alternative, more Socialist spelling of their name.
“…To review, the Post ran with bogus quotations attributed to President Donald Trump supplied by one anonymous source who was not even on the call. Two months later, when a Journal report revealed the quotations to be false, the Post only revealed the identity of the anonymous bearer of false information after shegranted her permission.
How kind of the Post and how generous of Ms. Fuchs to finally let readers in on the full story. We live in an age of cancel culture, but it seems that people who fabricate negative stories about Mr. Trump can expect eternal media forgiveness.
This is perhaps the perfect ending to the story of Trump-era press coverage and helps explain why media outlets never punished the anonymous sources of bogus Russia collusion stories by outing them. The bearers of false witness never gave their permission! Will this odd media courtesy be extended to anonymous sources who supply false claims about President Joe Biden?…”
Meanwhile, despite the New York Post‘s report four people on terror watchlist have been arrested at our southern border since October, three from Yemen, one from Serbia, the Dimocratic chairman of the House Intelligence & Special Operations Subcommittee maintains it’s impossible for anyone on the watchlist to cross the border. One can only surmise the dishonorable gentleman assumes every terrorist attempting infiltration is interdicted; you know, like the traffic in illegal drugs…and illegal aliens.
No threat to national security as a direct result of Progressive open border policies here, folks…please move along.
In a related item, writing at his Morning Jolt, Jim Geraghty highlights…
“In his recent interview with George Stephanopoulos — you know, that guy who worked as a top communications aide in the Clinton White House when President Biden was a senator — Biden rejected the notion that his rhetoric or policy shifts prompted the current surge of migrants heading toward the U.S.-Mexico border.
“The idea that Joe Biden said, ‘Come’ — because I heard the other day that they’re coming because they know I’m a nice guy, here’s the deal, they’re not,” he said.
…Many of the migrants said they had spent their life savings and gone into debt to pay coyotes — human smugglers — who had falsely promised them that the border was open after President Biden’s election.
Sure, the human smugglers are lying to those they want to exploit. But if the human smugglers had told their victims that Donald Trump had opened the borders and was now welcoming workers from Central America…would any of those poor migrants have believed those claims?
Poor 46*: if brains were dynamite, he couldn’t blow his nose. But if a willingness to sell out the country for purely personal gain were, the man could lay waste to the planet.
Moving on, we offer another series of items specially selected for inquiring minds:
(1). Would it surprise you to learn the Old Gray Hag has hired as a full-time “reporter” the former editor-in-chief of the Northwestern student newspaper, a particularly fearless “journalist” who hid in his office an entire day to avoid answering questions about him having retracted a story about campus activists protesting an appearance by former AG Jeff Sessions…after the very same activists protested it being published?
(2). NRO‘s Brittany Bernstein reports Biden will finally hold his first solo press conference “next week“. Count on the fact the questioners and questions will be pre-selected and pre-screened, and 46* will read his pre-rehearsed responses directly from his teleprompters…however imperfectly.
(6). The Journal‘s Kim Strassel provides a detailed look at how Mitch McConnell’s “scorched-earth Senate” might function. Or, to put it more accurately, malfunction, as she insightfully observes, “The filibuster isn’t the problem, and the Senate isn’t “broken.” All that stands in the way of legislation is a Democratic majority unwilling to compromise on any aspect of a radical agenda.”
This after Kommielaa spoke at a U.N. Commission on the Status of Women event on Tuesday. She’s a real profile in courage, that one. Then again, Sonny did receive an Emmy!
And in the EnvironMental Moment, this item from Newsweek via Jeff Foutch educates us as to how now even energy conduits can be racist, as…
“…On Sunday, Gore blasted the controversial oil pipeline project which is facing steep grassroots opposition despite the Army Corps of Engineers previously authorizing the massive (?!?) energy plan to link Memphis, Tennessee, to Byhalia, Mississippi.
…“It’s all the same thing: It’s racist!” Gore told the crowd, prompting raucous cheers in the open field. He went on to discuss the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis last year as well as energy companies’ decisions to dump waste in primarily Black and minority communities…”
George Floyd…oil pipelines…
Gore’s idiotic utterances also left us wondering when was the last time an oil company, or any other kind of concern, “dumped waste”…anywhere…let alone in “communities of color”?!? Is there any question why Progressives prefer their supporters ignorant and/or misinformed?
Which provides the perfect segue to The Lighter Side:
Then there’s these from Balls Cotton…
…the lovely Shannon…
…Speed…
…and the Penguin:
Finally, we’ll call it a wrap with yet another titillating tale torn from the pages of The Crime Blotter, as we learn a…
“…Laura Rose Carroll, 50, and her 17-year-old daughter, Emily Rose Grover, have each been charged with offenses against computers, unlawful use of a two-way communications device, criminal use of personally identifiable information, and conspiracy to commit these offenses.
…Carroll was booked into the Escambia County Jail with a bond set at $8,500, while Grover was taken into custody and transferred to the Escambia Regional Juvenile Detention Center…”
Arrested and booked…for “offenses against computers”: seriously?!?
Here’s the juice: Had these two first-time offenders been career criminals of color, then committed suicide-by-fentanyl while in custody, at least their relatives would be rich! After all, George Floyd was caught dead to rights passing a counterfeit $20, and his family got $27 million.
