We for one never assumed, nor have we ever represented, the photo depicted a wind turbine in Texas, nor does it matter.  What matters is the undeniable irony it represents: A helicopter…powered by fossil fuel, is spraying a chemical…formulated with fossil fuel, on a wind turbine…made from fossil fuel.  For the record, the picture shows a rotary-winged aircraft in the winter of 2013-2104 near Arjeplog, Sweden.

Also for the record, while the frozen Texas wind turbines didn’t cause the rolling blackouts, they sure as shootin’ weren’t part of the solution when their help was actually needed.

In a related item, in one of the more tone-deaf moves we’ve seen since the 4th of July weekend back in 2012 when Mitt Romney remained at the family compound on Lake Winnipesaukee…

…rather than succoring millions of registered voters in Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic who’d been battered by a monstrous line of thunderstorms…

LA County DA Gascón cuts ties with DA group, complains board is White, as association rips ‘publicity stunt’

“Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón has cut ties with the California District Attorneys Association, saying the group’s all-White board indicates the group has failed to keep pace with changing times.

…“The absence of a single person of color on CDAA’s 17-member board is blinding,” Gascón wrote Tuesday, in a letter to the group’s president. “This is the leadership that sets the direction for an organization of elected prosecutors, all of whom disproportionately prosecute communities of color at a time when the nation is facing a reckoning over systemic racisim, and in a state with a plurality of minorities no less,” Gascón continued. He later accused the DAs group of having “lost touch with the public.”

In a statement to Fox News, Vern Pierson, the El Dorado County District Attorney and President of CDAA, fired back. “Mr. Gascón cannot resign because he has not been a member of CDAA since October 2019 when he quit his job as DA of San Francisco,” Pierson said.

Really?!?  The troops are determining whether or not they’ll be vaccinated against the Wuhan virus…another gift from 46*’s friends in…

Since when do members of our Military determine what shots they’re going to take or decline?!?  This certainly wasn’t an option ever offered us before deploying overseas.

(3). If we neither liked nor trusted Steve Mnuchin before, we dislike and distrust him even more after he stated COVID relief spending has saved the U.S. economy from a ‘great recession’, and he’d like to see a fifth and sixth relief bill passed.

The Washington Times details the Dims are drafting a “very dangerous” bill to create a national gun registry accessible to the public, and which would require gun owners to buy firearms insurance and ban certain types of ammunition.  Hey, publicly disseminating the names and addresses of gun owners, the number and type of firearms they possess and where they keep them: WHAT could go WRONG?!?

(5). The Epoch Times tells us Kommielaa has taken over the role previously reserved for Presidents by calling several heads of state HERSELF.

This is more than passing curious, as, earlier the same day Kommielaa called President Macron of France, Jen “Little Joseph Goebbels” Psaki responded to a question whether 46* would be contacting de facto Saudi ruler Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud by stating, “The president’s counterpart is King Salman“, adding Biden and the king will speak at an “appropriate” time.

Soooo…France hasn’t had a king since the mid-19th century, which makes Emmanuel Macron Biden’s counterpart.  So why was Kommielaa calling him?  We’re gonna go out on a limb and say The Groper’s not up to assuming the full duties of his office.
