It’s Monday, January 25th, 2021…but before we begin, another mere man (and a rather dimwitted one at that) who would be king quickly drops the facade we’re in this together, as FOX reports…

46* means time for us to mask up; his family and him…only when it’s politically expedient…and doesn’t put a crimp in their celebration. P.S. Honest Abe must have been rolling over in his grave.
For those keeping track of 46*’s lies which have already been exposed a mere 4-1/2 days into his illegitimate Administration…

…this item from The Federalist forwarded by Steve Armour will help you keep an accurate count:

Meanwhile, as much as it pains me to say it, David French finally confirms he’s totally taken leave of his senses:

Regarding David French’s tweet, and ignoring for the moment the obvious illegalities in the election, four things are true: (1) A “handful” of executive orders? Give him time; after all, the clown’s only been in office since last Wednesday; (2) Replacing a “deranged liar” with a demented, pathological prevaricator who’s made practicing deception and corruption the primary features of a 47-year political career is a trade up?!?; (3) Forgetting for the moment the mob who breached the Capitol’s curiously deficient defenses hardly constituted the Visigoths sacking Rome, how can one incite those who’d preplanned their assault?; and, (4) “Perspective”? To what perspective is French referring? Perhaps that of the female athletes whose hopes and dreams will henceforth be dashed by mentally-ill men and boys seeking some perverted form of self-satisfaction? Or maybe David means the millions of babies who will be sacrificed on the altar of abortion around the world over the coming years thanks to 46*’s slavish support for the unrestricted slaughter of the unborn.
All of which leads us to share the feelings of the noble bird featured in this meme from Brenda Berry:

Now, here’s The Gouge!
First up, as Jim Freeman records at Best of the Web, Groper Joe offers the rest of us…

“Meanwhile in Washington, the news is less encouraging, as President Joe Biden has sent a bizarre diktat to the heads of federal agencies and departments. The Inauguration Day memo instructs them to “identify ways to modernize and improve the regulatory review process” to promote “policies that reflect new developments in scientific and economic understanding, fully accounts for regulatory benefits that are difficult or impossible to quantify, and does not have harmful anti-regulatory or deregulatory effects”.
“Fully accounting” for alleged benefits of big government that are “impossible to quantify” sounds like a rather difficult task—perhaps even the opposite of accounting. Here’s hoping the CPAs among our readership will share their views on how they might attempt to fulfill such a task.
In the meantime, Wayne Crews at the Competitive Enterprise Institute warns:
The Biden “Modernizing Regulatory Review” plan is about gutting the restraint of the past four years…There is no mention of costs and burdens of regulation… So, the aim is to put weight on the scales of whether or not to regulate such that the answer will always be in the affirmative, replacing market operation and civil society with government in the pursuit of a range of non-quantifiable goals, even without legislation from Congress. Agencies are being unleashed to issue guidance, memoranda, notices, circulars, bulletins, letters, interpretations and so on; all the stuff I like to call “regulatory dark matter.”
…The “Modernizing Regulatory Review,” in a nutshell plainly translates into a new architecture for never-ending regulations as long as the left declares that benefits exceed costs.“
