The Daily Gouge

Good evening Mr. & Mrs. America and all the ships at sea. We experienced a massive computer problem last night which precluded us publishing what was, if we do say so ourselves, a rather special edition of The Gouge.

After embedding a previously-featured video (a montage of Sondland’s “presumptions”), we detected an unknown code in the body of the new page…

…a series of “<p>” and “</p>” visible at the bottom of the screenshot above.  When we deleted them, the entire rest of the page went with it.  Then our computer started to slow down markedly, and eventually the code extended all the way down the page…

…which extended far longer than the length of the original column, and all our work was gone.

Bottomline, we hadn’t the time to duplicate the entire installment, so didn’t/couldn’t publish.

We’ll be gone at a wedding this weekend, and likely won’t publish again until Wednesday.  So ’til then…
