It’s Wednesday, May 17th, 2017…but before we begin, submitted for your perusal, Another Amazing Moment in Progressive Hypocrisy, brought to us today by the most duplicitous, double-dealing duo ever to haunt the halls of the White House.
Food for we…
…but not for THEE…
…or thy school-age children! Moochie, two quick questions: (a). What’s the nutritional value of food nobody actually eats?!?; and, (b). If your husband and you were truly concerned about the diets of average Americans, why didn’t you limit…
…items obtainable through food stamps and EBT cards to heart-healthy options?!?
Now, here’s The Gouge!
First up, Houston, we have a problem! Though the WaPo claims…
As contributor George Lawlor noted, “it took enormous political courage to watch women and children get gassed while I sat on my ass”! Yeah,…the same amount of political courage Bill Clinton exhibited watching the Rwandan genocide…or Barry and Hillary displayed during Benghazi!
Here’s our problem with the Progressive presentation.
First, as the WaPo relates, while its possible Trump might have exercised poor judgment, it was practically impossible for him to have committed any offense, let alone the high crime or misdemeanor the Dimocrats are foaming at the mouth to find:
“For almost anyone in government, discussing such matters with an adversary would be illegal. As president, Trump has broad authority to declassify government secrets, making it unlikely that his disclosures broke the law…”
Not “unlikely”; damned near inconceivable!
Second, there’s the old Liberal stand-by of “guilt by insinuation”:
“White House officials involved in the meeting said Trump discussed only shared concerns about terrorism.
“The president and the foreign minister reviewed common threats from terrorist organizations to include threats to aviation,” said H.R. McMaster, the national security adviser, who participated in the meeting. “At no time were any intelligence sources or methods discussed, and no military operations were disclosed that were not already known publicly.”
McMaster reiterated his statement in a subsequent appearance at the White House on Monday and described the Washington Post story as “false,” but did not take any questions.
In their statements, White House officials emphasized that Trump had not discussed specific intelligence sources and methods, rather than addressing whether he had disclosed information drawn from sensitive sources.
The CIA declined to comment, and the NSA did not respond to requests for comment…”
“Did not take any questions”; “did not respond to requests for comment”?!? They HAVE to be hiding something!!!
Wait, it gets better:
“But officials expressed concern about Trump’s handling of sensitive information as well as his grasp of the potential consequences. Exposure of an intelligence stream that has provided critical insight into the Islamic State, they said, could hinder the United States’ and its allies’ ability to detect future threats.
“It is all kind of shocking,” said a former senior U.S. official who is close to current administration officials. “Trump seems to be very reckless and doesn’t grasp the gravity of the things he’s dealing with, especially when it comes to intelligence and national security. And it’s all clouded because of this problem he has with Russia…”
Objection, your Honor; once again, counsel is offering facts not in evidence. Oh,…and by “this problem he has with Russia”, can we assume you mean the “problem” which is the creation of the Dimocrats and their shills in the MSM?!?
Third, consider this absurdity:
“The Post is withholding most plot details, including the name of the city, at the urging of officials who warned that revealing them would jeopardize important intelligence capabilities…”
“Everyone knows this stream is very sensitive, and the idea of sharing it at this level of granularity with the Russians is troubling,” said a former senior U.S. counterterrorism official who also worked closely with members of the Trump national security team.He and others spoke on the condition of anonymity, citing the sensitivity of the subject…”
Yet “He and others“, as well as whoever leaked the supposed details of Trump’s classified conversations with the Russians, had no problem revealing such highly-sensitive intelligence to The Washington Post?!?
“The classified intelligence that President Trump disclosed in a meeting last week with Russian officials at the White House was provided by Israel, according to a current and a former American official familiar with how the United States obtained the information…”
Again, if the source of the material Trump ostensibly revealed was so sensitive, should not those who leaked it to the likes of the WaPo and Times be brought up on charges?!?
Here’s the juice: from Reagan…to Bush…to Trump, Progressives and their MSM puppets have sought to dismiss both the savvy and intelligence of every Republican President. The Donald may not be the brightest bulb in the pack, but he certainly outshines the reprobate liars and charlatans who preceded and sought to supplant him.

“…They still haven’t realized what’s going on. Their ego-driven drive to dominate normal people and shape us into New Socialist Nongendered Beings has blinded them to the bitter reality.
We think they, along with their minions in the media, in Hollywood, and on campus, suck.
They are baffled at our refusal to acknowledge their moral, intellectual, and political superiority. It doesn’t just compute.
Yeah, well compute this, geebos. You look nuts. I mean wacko, zonked out, “Hey, that goldfish is firing a mind control laser at my brain and making me break dance” nuts.
But don’t stop. No, pump it up. You’re at “11,” and I say take it to “12.” This is great!
All this insanity is going to help us normals retain power, from your gyno-hat marches to the fake hate crimes to your insistence that the Russians are responsible for everything from Hillary losing the election to the rarely-discussed but well-known liberal epidemic of ED.
Here’s a little test. It’s been about six months since Trump treated The Smartest Most Accomplished Woman In The World like a NordicTrack treats Harry Reid, and does anyone know even one person who has said, “You know, I voted for Trump, but now after Neil Gorsuch, General Mattis and H.R. McMaster, I really wish I had checked the box for Felonia von Pantsuit?”
I’m not talking about alt-right weirdos – they don’t count. I mean literally, unless they remove their off-brand Nike knock-offs. I mean normal people. Who voted for Trump and now says something remotely like this?
“Yeah, I really regret not letting Hillary pick a SCOTUS judge who thinks the Constitution bans guns but mandates taxpayer-subsidized transsexual abortions!”
“Wow, that 70% drop in illegal alien entries into America and all those deportations of MS-13 guys are depriving the country of valuable, productive future Democrat voters!”
“Gosh, I hate so much how Trump has paid attention to that sliver of our country lying between I-5 and I-95!”
No one who voted for Trump has ever said any of those things.Oh, they might have voted for him reluctantly, but no statistically significant slice of them wish they hadn’t.
But the Democrats work under the assumption that such folk exist and are receptive to their tantrums.Good! These liberals are crazy, and they’re stupid, and we totally need to encourage them to keep doing crazy, stupid things…”
In a related item, here’s another of those crazy, stupid things, courtesy of Mike Brown writing at Townhall.com…
“I’m going to make a bold prediction. Mother’s Day and Father’s Day will outlive the social engineers who want to reconstruct or deconstruct or remove or redefine these special days. That’s because moms and dads are here to stay, no matter what society says.
Earlier this month, KXTV in Canada reported that, “An elementary school is cancelling Mother’s and Father’s Day events in an effort to celebrate diversity and inclusivity after a traumatic incident involving one of its students.” (In case you’re wondering, this is not a satirical website. This actually happened.)
The school would not reveal what the “traumatic incident was,” only that it involved “a student and its parents.”
In a letter sent to parents, the staff explained, “As Mother’s Day and Father’s Day approach we have met as a Primary (Grade 1 and 2) team to discuss our core values. In an effort to celebrate diversity, inclusivity and also nurture our students who are part of non-traditional families, we have decided to encourage those celebrations to take place at home. Due to this, the children will not be making gifts at school to give on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. We feel each family knows the best way to celebrate with their own family.”
So, in order “to celebrate diversity and inclusivity,” normalcy is ignored and a very tiny tail (consisting of one student and its parents) now wags a very large dog (the rest of the school).Perhaps there should be no Christmas breaks because of one non-Christian student? Perhaps there should be no sports games because of a child with physical handicaps? Perhaps there should be no music classes because of one student who is hard of hearing?
One parent posted a response to the school on Facebook, and the post was shared by hundreds of people. “I think disapointed [sic] is an understatement. This will be the first year that we don’t get gifts crafted with love from our kids, and since we only have one little one now it makes it all that much worse. I don’t understand why we, as Canadians, need to give up our traditions that have been passed through generations.I welcome all races and ethnicities, but forcing us to give up things that are important to us as Canadians is crap. And it doesn’t even have anything to do with religion? You can’t celebrate your Mom and Dad?”
Apparently, you can’t, because it’s possible that this might be traumatic for little Johnny and his two dads should he have nothing to do while the other kids made Mother’s Day presents.(I don’t know that this is what happened; I’m using it as a potential example.)
Yes, this is how you “celebrate diversity and inclusivity,” by punishing the 99 percent who do not fit into your “non-traditional” categories.
What’s interesting is that, over the years, there must have been kids from single parent homes who were unable to celebrate either Mother’s Day or Father’s Day, yet the school-wide celebrations continued. But in today’s bizarre new world, the rule (like girls using girls’ locker rooms) must conform to the exception to the rule (like a boy who identifies as a girl sharing those locker rooms), no matter how much it inconveniences or hurts the rest…”
Since we’re on the subject of the overly sensitive…
