It’s Wednesday, July 13th, 2016…but before we begin, all you need to know about The Dear Misleader’s oration in Dallas, as stated by Jeff Katz on WVRA, Richmond talk radio: “it was crass…it was vile…and it was totally inexcusable”. What…cuz he only mentioned himself some 45 times in his hour-long political diatribe?!?
And a divisive, racist disgustingly hypocritical clown at that!
Since we’re on the subject of the disgusting, when you have a moment, here’s a little insight into the Clintons’ sordid speech scam:
Frankly, we remain amazed anyone would pay a dime to hear anything these lying, licentious shysters have to say…which tells us there’s another motivation behind the monetary support the Clintons receive, whether for speaking engagements or through contributions to what amounts to a retirement/slush fund oh-so-thinly-disguised as a charitable foundation.
Here’s the question Americans with even half a brain need to ask themselves…
…which leaves the vast majority of The Left out!
Now, here’s The Gouge!
Leading off today’s edition, writing at Townhall.com, Kurt Schlichter suggests it’s time to…
“Welcome to 1968 2.0, the new and improved chaos, featuring a cutting edge assault on our foundational principles by an idiot elite that thinks it can gut the rule of law without consequence. Time to reboot, to wipe the hard drive and reload the factory software coded two-plus centuries ago by those dead white male geniuses.
Except I don’t think this country’s elite has the character, nor understands our constitutional technology enough, to do it. I think it fails to appreciate what is going on outside its cloisters, among those weird, patriotic, religious, and – significantly – armed people (Who won’t surrender our weapons just because Ruth Darth Bader Ginsburg, Anthony Kennedy or John Roberts decides they can rewrite the Constitution.) living in uncool places between the coasts. I think it believes this anger is a passing fad, that it can bluff and bully its way through it the way it did to previous challenges to its rule.
Obama and the progressive elite were not satisfied merely with exonerating the clearly guilty Hillary Clinton of charges that would have sent any mere mortal to the slammer. They had to shove it in our faces. The AG met with Bill Clinton. Then the FBI director laid out a devastating case, followed by an “and…nope.” Then President Faily McWorsethancarter swept her away in Air Force One – at our expense – to campaign with her and even placed her at a podium with the presidential seal while the liberal media thrilled and quivered. This is beyond mere corruption. This is them gloating over what they see as their unassailable power. This is them laughing at us.
Then Obama made yet another speech telling us how cops are racist. Understand that his attacks on cops are an attack on all of us normal Americans. Like soldiers, the police come from the ranks of us normal Americans, not the elite. And just as with soldiers, we normals revere cops as symbolic of the best of how we see ourselves – loyal, brave, patriotic protectors of order and decency. Obama – the guy who immediately assumed a Cambridge cop acted “stupidly” – as well as Hillary Clinton and the liberal elite, attacked cops as racist and evil as surrogates for attacking us as racist and evil.
And then yet another racial malcontent went on a shooting spree. The Los Angeles cop killer, the Virginia TV reporter, and now this creep in Dallas, all full of racist hate, and not one damn word about it from the elite. The motive hurt the narrative; they wanted to talk about cops oppressing people, so the elite simply lied by its silence about the Dallas killer’s expressly racist motive. And their media love-slaves obliged; when it became clear that this clown who couldn’t make E4 after six years was essentially just a Black Lives Matter supporter in a hurry, the story faded away.
But the lies did not fade away. Obama came out, feigned ignorance about motive (“We many never know what motivated the guy who expressly said that he was motivated by a desire to murder white cops.”), and blamed us yet again – this time for our stubborn refusal to disarm ourselves to please people who hate us and who refuse to acknowledge what drives those who say outright that they intend to murder us.
Did Obama try unity? Of course not – he divided Americans into the good ones who agree with him and us bad ones who refuse to kneel and bow. Leftists don’t want unity and they don’t want peace. Community organizers succeed when they divide; they need discord and hate to survive. Understand that all this discord and hate is not a bug. To them, it is a feature…”
In a related item, courtesy of the WSJ, Jason Riley sees the necessity for…
When the president repeatedly assumes the worst about police, he sends a dangerous message.
“President Obama is scheduled to speak in Dallas Tuesday at a memorial service for the five police officers gunned down last week—but haven’t we already heard enough from him?
Mr. Obama’s initial response to the shootings was more of the same: equivocation mixed with an attempt to change the subject. He said there is no possible justification for violence against law enforcement, but then added a line about racial disparities in the criminal-justice system and finished with a nod to more gun control. “When people are armed with powerful weapons,” said the president, “it unfortunately makes attacks like these more deadly.”
Time and again during his presidency, in matters large and small, Mr. Obama has assumed the worst about police…
Like others on the political left, Mr. Obama has made a habit of minimizing or ignoring the high black crime rates that obviously underlie tensions between poor minority communities and cops. More than 95% of black shooting deaths don’t involve the police, which would seem to undercut the notion that trigger-happy cops are hunting black men. Sadly, rates of murder, rape, robbery, assault and other violent crimes are 7 to 10 times higher among blacks than among whites, but liberals who don’t want to alienate black voters go to great lengths to explain away this behavior and focus instead on police conduct.
Yes, Mr. Obama has denounced what happened in Dallas, but he has also been winking at a Black Lives Matter movement that has spent the past two years holding rallies that call for (and sometimes feature) violence against cops. Like the president, these protesters maintain that the police are motivated by racial prejudice, not by the behavior of suspects. They insist that a biased criminal-justice system explains the black crime rate, not antisocial behavior. By indulging this narrative, Mr. Obama and his fans in the liberal media were playing with fire, and the Dallas carnage was the result.
…The Dallas shootings have liberals requesting more national conversations about race. But these calls are mostly disingenuous. What liberals have in mind is more of a lecture, where they do the talking and everyone else nods in agreement. The left wants America to acknowledge that white racism explains black pathology; that the racial makeup of police departments and elected officials is crucial to good relations between law enforcement and black communities; and that reducing gun ownership will reduce gun violence.
In fact, America’s ghettos had lower levels of black crime and violence in the pre-1960s era, before major civil-rights legislation had even passed and in an era when racial discrimination was legal and more widespread. The racial makeup of the Ferguson police department may not have reflected that of the city, but the same cannot be said of other locales—Chicago, New York, Baltimore—where relations between police and black civilians are also strained despite the presence of black police chiefs, beat cops, prosecutors, judges, mayors and municipal workers. Dallas’s population is about 25% black, as is the police force, yet murders in the city were up by more than 70% in the first part of this year, according to the Dallas Morning News.
And if gun ownership rates drive gun violence, how do you explain the fact that rural areas of the country, where people own firearms at twice the rate of their urban counterparts, are significantly less violent?
Some good may yet come out of this Dallas tragedy if political leaders and the press stop treating Black Lives Matter like it’s the NAACP circa 1955. But don’t count on Mr. Obama to lead that effort.“
B. Hussein’s political pontification and personal spotlighting at what was supposed to be a memorial service honoring five assassinated law enforcement officers certainly proved Riley right.
Then there’s this video we found interesting on several levels:
While some might deem Boykins’ suggested resegregation innocently misguided, we find it repugnant. If the ways of Black “culture” and the needs of Black “communities” can truly only be understood by other Blacks, how on earth is it possible for Black politicians to govern towns, cities, states or a nation with White majority populations?
The same goes for the Asian and Hispanic “communities” cited by the lady; if there’s any requirement for cultural understanding and adjustment, it’s incumbent upon immigrants to learn the culture of their adopted nation, not the other way around.
And here’s yet another hint…as if any were really needed…that racist White cops who don’t “understand the African-American community” aren’t even close to constituting the biggest threat facing Black Americans:
Gunman fires during vigil for slain Baltimore man; 5 shot
Police say five people attending a candlelight vigil in for a man killed in west Baltimore were shot when a gunman opened fire on the crowd. Detective Donny Moses said in a phone interview that about 25 people had gathered about 6:30 p.m. Monday at Fulton and North avenues, where 24-year-old Jermaine Schofield was shot and killed early Sunday.
…Police say during the vigil, a gunman walked into the crowd and started shooting. Moses says witnesses weren’t able to give police a description of the shooter.
We won’t hold our breath waiting for Black Lives Matter to organize a vigil, The Great Divider to pointlessly pontificate or the first Black Miss Alabama to tearfully record a video marking the occasion. Black lives seemingly come cheap when they’re sacrificed in senseless slaughter at the hands of other Blacks.
And if you’ve ever wondered how low Liberals around the world will go to protect their demonstrably misguided and completely counterproductive agendas, this item from Mediaite should provide an indication:
Activist Admits She Lied About Rapists’ Ethnicity to Avoid ‘More Hatred Against Migrants’
A German rape victim admitted in an interview with DerSpiegel that she lied about her rapists’ ethnicities because she wanted to avoid sparking a backlash against refugees. In January, Selin Gören was attacked by three men in the city of Mannheim and forced to perform a sex act. Gören, who works as a refugee activist and as spokeswoman of the left-wing organization Solid, told police her attackers spoke German and were a “mixed group” of foreigners and locals.
But twelve hours later, Gören returned to the police to admit she lied; her attackers were all foreigners and they were actually speaking Arabic and Farsi.
Gören explained she wanted to avoid the controversy caused when a group of migrants, reportedly of Arabic and North African origins, sexually assaulted and robbed over a hundred people on New Year’s Eve in Cologne.“What really hurts me is that it is a fact that the sexist and over the line incident that happened to me will inevitably lead to more aggression and racism,” she wrote on her Facebook page, in a now-deleted post.
If such insanity doesn’t represent the inevitable end product of Liberal logic we don’t know what does.
Speaking of collective insanity, the WSJ‘s Bret Stephens weighs in with the latest on The Dear Misleader’s Deal of the Century:
Truth Catches the Iran Deal
Obama trumpets an agreement that Tehran violates at every turn.
“…“The administration is trying to lock in the Iran deal and prevent a future president from doing anything, including pushing back on Iran’s malign behavior,” says the Foundation for Defense of Democracies’ Mark Dubowitz, who knows more about Iran sanctions than anyone in Washington. “Instead of curbing Iran’s worst behavior, the administration effectively facilitates it.”
One last detail: In June, the Journal’s Jay Solomon reported that the International Atomic Energy Agency had discovered “traces of man-made uranium” at Iran’s military facility at Parchin. The agency reported this finding in a footnote to a report in December, but the administration made no comment then and now dismisses it as old news. The IAEA is no longer allowed to inspect Parchin, or any other military installation, under the deal.
So let’s recap. Mr. Obama says Iran is honoring the nuclear deal, but German intelligence tells us Tehran is violating it more aggressively than ever.He promised “snapback” sanctions in the event of such violations, but the U.S. is operating as Iran’s trade-promotion agent. He promised “unprecedented” inspections, but we’re not permitted to inspect sites where uranium was found. He promised an eight-year ban on Iran’s testing of ballistic missiles, but Tehran violated that ban immediately and repeatedly with only mild pushback from the West. He promised that the nuclear deal was not about “normalizing” relations with a rogue regime. But he wants it in the WTO.
Is Mr. Obama rationalizing a failed agreement or did he mean to mislead the American public? Either way, truth is catching up with the Iran deal.“
We’re going with the latter; the real question remains why!
Which brings us to today’s installment of the Environmental Moment, and this take-off on the old children’s song also from the WSJ:
Worried about carbon from crops, the Environmental Protection Agency wants to regulate America’s farms.
“A basic fact about agricultural products such as grains and oilseeds is that the carbon in them, called biogenic carbon, came from the atmosphere. Biogenic carbon will return to the atmosphere when these products are consumed, such as when human beings eat bread and then breathe out the carbon dioxide resulting from the breakdown of bread in the body.Biogenic carbon therefore cannot contribute to climate change.
Why is the Environmental Protection Agency denying this basic fact of climate science? The EPA is counting biogenic-carbon emissions as if they were the same as fossil-carbon emissions. They are not the same.Carbon atoms emitted by burning fossil fuels are, in effect, on a one-way trip from the ground to the atmosphere, where they will stay for hundreds of millions of years. In contrast, carbon atoms taken from the atmosphere to make agricultural products are on a round trip from the atmosphere to farms then back to the atmosphere.
The EPA intends to penalize American farmers and those who make modern energy and bioproducts such as plastics from agricultural feedstocks by treating biogenic carbon like fossil carbon. As part of its approach, the EPA is now attempting to regulate “sustainability” in the farm field…”
Yeah…forget the fact American agriculture is the breadbasket of the planet; what’s a few hundred million more starving Third World children compared to Tom Steyer, Al Gore and the rest of the Environazis getting a better night’s sleep?!?
On The Lighter Side…
And if you ever wondered what happened to the two creepy girls from The Shining…
…Balls Cotton has the answer:
Finally, we’ll call it a wrap with this intriguing post from The College Fix, courtesy of Bill Meisen:
“At least one professor in America does not feel the Bern. University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Professor Jack Stauder says his political and ideological conversion away from socialism and Marxism occurred when he actually witnessed these systems in action.
After traveling to more than 110 countries to pursue various forms of research, notably cultural anthropology, Stauder described his conversion from Marxism as a process of disillusionment. “I gradually became disenchanted with Marxism by visiting many of the countries that had tried to shape their societies to conform to its doctrines. I was disillusioned by the realities I saw in … socialist countries – the USSR, Eastern Europe, China, Cuba, etc,” Stauder told The College Fix via email.
“I came to recognize that socialism doesn’t work, and that its ‘revolutionary’ imposition inevitably leads to cruelty, injustice and the loss of freedom,” the professor continued. “I could see the same pattern in the many failed left-wing revolutions of Latin America and elsewhere. By combining actual travel with the historical study of socialism and revolution, I succeeded in disabusing myself of the utopian notions that fatally attract people to leftist ideas.”
Academic institutions are breeding grounds for leftist ideals, according to Stauder, as “academics in general are intellectuals, and hence susceptible to ideologies.” “People seem to feel the need to believe in something, and when intellectuals abandon traditional religion, as most have done, they tend to seek substitutes,” he said…”
