First up, a headline from the Washington Examiner‘s Jason Russell which tells you all you need to know about The Obamao’s latest propaganda ploy:
“Sounds” like Warren? Hells bells, talk about peas from the same Progressive pod! They’re both lying, hypocritical Communists with no private sector experience whatsoever, who’ve never achieved anything of note on their own and never risked a dime of their own money!
Since we’re on the subject of The Dear Misleader’s patent prevarications, Commentary Magazine‘s Jonathan Tobin details…
“…But perhaps the worst aspect of the speech was its conclusion in which the president disingenuously called for a new politics in which partisan passions would be put aside as both sides worked for the betterment of the country. These lines came only minutes after the president threatened to veto any bill he didn’t like and derided his opponents as straw men with questionable motives.
This is the administration that likened Tea Party supporters in Congress to terrorists. This is also the president that used his State of the Union to concentrate on partisan talking points rather than suggestions that had a chance of passage in a Congress that is now controlled by the other party.
For the same man to then pose as the avatar of compromise is more than disingenuous. It speaks to a credibility gap that is as wide as the Grand Canyon. In that context Obama’s mention of his 2004 speech to the Democratic National Convention in which he sought to portray himself as post-partisan was equal parts nostalgia and satire…”
In other words, the man’s credibility gap is only exceeded by width of Hillary’s hips.
In a related item, the WSJ‘s Dan Henninger puts this President’s prattling in a different perspective:
“Barack Obama was 15 minutes into his State of the Union speech when I arrived home to watch it, having just walked back from seeing “American Sniper.” Watching a movie about a Navy SEAL who served four tours fighting in Iraq was not the best way to enhance the experience of a Barack Obama speech. As a matter of fact, it was pretty unbearable.
…Watching “American Sniper,” it is impossible to separate these catastrophes from seeing what the Marines did and endured to secure northern Iraq. Again, anyone is entitled to hate the Iraq war. But no serious person would want a president to make a decision that would allow so much personal sacrifice to simply evaporate. Which, in his serene self-confidence , is what Barack Obama did. That absolute drawdown was a decision of fantastic foolishness. (or the result deliberate, purposeful calculation.)
In the one spontaneous moment of Tuesday evening’s speech, Mr. Obama cracked back at some chiding Republicans that he’d won two elections. And he’s right. The first election was a remarkable, historic event for the United States. His second election was a historic electoral mistake, leaving the country and the world to be led by a president who is living on his own fantasy island…”
Or, is deliberately attempting to impose a dictatorial cult of personality. We’d also disagree The Obamao’s first election, while certainly historic, was truly remarkable; after all, what’s remarkable about a silver-tongued politician bamboozling voters with an endless stream of lies and promises of “free” everything…particularly when the majority of those voting for him are dumber than a box of rocks?!?
Unfortunately, the only aspect of his ascension which is truly historic was the lap-dog MSM’s abject “roll-over-and-play-dead” routine. Not even JFK got such kid-glove treatment. And at least under JFK, the lot of Irish-Catholic voters actually improved!
As for our favorite fables The Great Prevaricator presented as fact Tuesday evening, first:
“We may have different takes on the events of Ferguson…”
No Barry; as one of the last decent Democrats is purported to have said, everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but they are not entitled to their own facts. Ferguson was a fable from the start; and anyone who continues to claim otherwise is either lyin’ or ig’nant! In The Obamao’s case, likely a half-n-half.
But our personal favorite had to be this little gem:
“My only agenda for the next two years is the same as the one I’ve had since the day I swore an oath on the steps of this Capitol – to do what I believe is best for America.“
Wrong, you elephant-eared Marxist. Your oath, as evidenced by the following video, was…
…to the best of your ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States. NOT what you “believe”, “think” or “feel” is best, but what the Constitution SAYS!!!

When an enterprising WBZ-TV reporter, Ken MacLeod, started tracking down the Boston protesters (See today’s Tales From the Darkside video clip through link #2 above.) who shut down the freeway and found them at their homes — often their parents’ homes, mansions in Brookline — he was accused of “harassment,” told “I need you to leave our property immediately,” etc. Which is to say, the protesters, having inserted themselves into public affairs, wished to enjoy the courtesy that they refused to extend to those who hadn’t inserted themselves into public affairs. When it comes to dopey Trustafarians, there’s more that’s tangled than their hair…”
