Report: Obama Daughters Skiing in Sun Valley, Idaho
A local news affiliate in Idaho reports that the Obama daughters are spending Spring Break skiing at Sun Valley:
Earlier, it was reported that the Obama daughters were at a resort in the Bahamas for Spring Break. Both reports could be true: The Obama daughters could have spent the first half of the week in the Bahamas, before leaving the sun for the Idaho snow.Meanwhile, the White House remains closed to the public, as the Secret Service is said to lack the funds necessary to keep the building open to all.

White House Scrubs First Daughters Ski Trip Report
A local news affiliate in Idaho reported that the First Daughters, Sasha and Malia Obama, are on a Spring Break ski trip in Sun Valley, Idaho. The story quickly spread across the Internet when picked up by the highly trafficked Drudge Report website. But hours later, the story disappeared from the KMVT website without an update or correction. Breitbart News confirmed that the White House requested that the post be removed.
In March of last year, the White House requested media outlets remove accurate reports that Malia Obama was on a trip in Mexico with over two dozen Secret Service agents.
The First Family has been criticized in recent days for taking frequent vacations. Earlier this week, Breitbart News broke the story that the Obama daughters spent part of Spring Break at the Atlantis resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas.Michelle Obama and the First Daughters took a separate ski trip last month to Aspen, Colorado.
While each of these trips require a significant Secret Service presence, the White House canceled public tours this month citing Secret Service staffing costs.

From the beginning of the administration, the White House has asked news outlets not to report on or photograph the Obama children when they are not with their parents and there is no vital news interest. We have reminded outlets of this request in order to protect the privacy and security of these girls.
Since Sasha and Malia are vacationing on the people’s dime…and the people’s White House remains closed to tours…we’d say any leisure activities of The Obamaos, regardless of age, constitute news of vital national interest.

Grand jury indicts about 3 dozen educators in Atlanta Public Schools cheating scandal
In another embarrassing blow to Atlanta public schools, nearly three dozen former educators, including the ex-superintendent, were indicted Friday in one of the nation’s largest test cheating scandals. Former Superintendent Beverly Hall faced charges including racketeering, false statements and theft because prosecutors said some of the bonuses she received were tied to falsified scores. Hall retired just days before a state probe was released in 2011. She has long denied knowing about the cheating or ordering it.
…The criminal investigation lasted 21 months and the allegations date back to 2005. In addition to Hall, 34 people were indicted: four high-level administrators, six principals; two assistant principals; six testing coordinators; 14 teachers; a school improvement specialist and a school secretary. All of the people named in the indictment face conspiracy charges. Other charges in the 65-count indictment include false statements and writings, false swearing, theft and influencing witnesses.
The investigation involved at least 50 schools as well as hundreds of interviews with school administrators, staff, parents and students. The district has about 50,000 students.
Howard would not directly answer a question about whether Hall led the conspiracy. “What we’re saying is that without her, this conspiracy could not have taken place,” he said. “It would not have taken place if her actions had not made that possible.” Hall faces up to 45 years in prison, Howard said.
Richard Deane, an attorney for Hall, did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
The tests were the key measure the state used to determine whether it met the federal No Child Left Behind law. Schools with good test scores get extra federal dollars to spend in the classroomor on teacher bonuses.It wasn’t immediately clear how much bonus money Hall received.Howard did not say and the amount wasn’t mentioned in the indictment.
“Those results were caused by cheating. … And the money that she received, we are alleging that money was ill-gotten,” Howard said.
Think about it: blacks truly are indebted to Liberal Dimocrats, who, over the course of the last 50 years, have done their darndest to create, sustain and administer:
– the entitlement system responsible for the dissolution of their families and skyrocketing rate of illegitimate births.
– the public school system failing to educate their children.
– the urban centers keeping them poor and unemployed.
Yet the only solution those in charge can offer Black America is the same tired tripe they offer the rest of the country…
…more of the same. And echoing The Dear Misleader’s “Blame Bush” refrain, black “leaders” continue to blame “Whitey”, the untold trillions of largely white taxpayer dollars quite literally being flushed down the welfare drain notwithstanding. Is anyone else detecting a pattern here?

A Carbon Tax Loses—Twice
The Senate gives an energy levy a double thumbs down.
Proposals for that hardy Al Gore perennial, a carbon tax, are making a comeback. But if last weekend’s votes in the Senate are any guide, the idea is going to require a lot more political persuasion.
The media ignored Harry Reid’s budget vote-a-rama, but along the way Senators were allowed to declare on a pair of amendments related to energy taxes. First up was Rhode Island liberal Sheldon Whitehouse, who wanted to reserve any carbon-tax revenues to reduce the deficit or redistribute to certain voters. Apparently Mr. Whitehouse sees a carbon levy as inevitable and wants to make sure he’s the middleman.
The Democrat waxed liturgical in support: “We have a new pope, Pope Francis, who said last week that our relation with God’s creation is not very good right now. God’s creation runs by laws—the laws of nature, the laws of physics, the laws of chemistry—and God gave us the power of reason to understand those laws. But they are not negotiable. They are not subject to amendment or repeal. And the arrogance of our thinking that they are is an offense to His creation.”
We promise he gets to a carbon tax.
“We can ignore obvious facts, we can ignore the essentially unanimous science, we can ignore our generals and admirals, we can ignore the insurance industry’s warnings, but we ignore carbon pollution at our peril,” Mr. Whitehouse continued.
To which Missouri Republican Roy Blunt replied: “I know the pope also mentioned, more times than he mentioned carbon tax, helping the poor.” And “I would just say, when the poor family cannot pay their utility bill . . . “ The Whitehouse amendment lost 58-41, with 13 Democrats joining every Republican in opposition.
Mr. Blunt then rose to offer his own amendment—without a papal invocation—to require 60 Senate votes to impose an energy tax.His amendment passed 53-46, with eight Democrats joining a united GOP. Perhaps these heretical Democrats figured that a Senate budget outline that already raised taxes by $1 trillion was enough.
Some of our conservative friends want us to endorse a carbon tax, and it certainly beats taxing income. But until someone finds a way to stop the Whitehouse liberals from using the additional revenue simply to expand the government, we’re with the poor and the Senate’s anti-carbon tax majority.
But since the Left’s very basis for a carbon tax is a scam; and, like any level of VAT, a carbon tax is without question the proverbial…
…we’ll stay opposed to its adoption in any way, shape, form or amount.

Man, 65, claims he was RAPED by young female nurse while recovering from accident in a Philadelphia hospital
An elderly patient at a Philadelphia hospital claims that he was raped by a young female nurse while recovering from an accident last month. According to a police report, the 65-year-old (Since when is 65 considered “elderly”?!?) alleged victim was staying at Temple University hospital for a week after a motorcycle accident.
The alleged rape took place on February 27 at around 3.30am inside a hospital bathroom. The man says a nurse in her 20s entered Room 835 where he was recuperating and offered him to take a bath, the report cited by NBC Philadelphia states. The woman then allegedly proceeded to sexually assault the elderly patient. The exact circumstances of the alleged encounter have not been made public.
Yeah…then he woke up!
